What you'll do as a Senior Software Engineer
- Build scalable, highly reliable, and fault-tolerant solutions, continuously improving systems and swiftly responding to adverse behavior.
- Develop systems and APIs that power a rich set of applications used by a large and passionate group of users every day.
- Care about agility as much as you care about scalability. We roll out products very quickly and are looking for a team that can pivot at a moment's notice.
- Maintain the application software throughout the product life cycle.
- Support production for Incident management and problem resolution.
- Mentor other engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and over-the-shoulder debugging.
What you'll bring
- At least 5 years of development experience in object-oriented programming using .NET/C#, building robust and maintainable backend systems.
- Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns, software architectures, and relational databases.
- Hands-on experience developing distributed systems in a cloud environment such as AWS, as well as writing and maintaining a comprehensive test suites (unit, integration, performance).
- Basic experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, jQuery, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with observability tools, performance tuning, and operating containerized systems (Docker/Kubernetes) in high-load environments is considered an advantage.
