This role holds a strategic position within the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, and is key to shaping the technological advancements of the organization. Leads the continuous improvement of software development practices, actively driving the adoption of emerging technologies and fostering an environment of innovation. Regularly interacts with external vendors and strategic partners to explore new technologies and integrate solutions that enhance the company’s technological capabilities.
Application Development and Implementation (30-35%)
- Architect and oversee the development of complex software systems.
- Drive innovation by exploring and integrating advanced technologies that align with the company’s strategic goals.
- Provide technical leadership in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring deliverables meet high standards.
Continuous Improvement (20-25%)
- Lead the ongoing maintenance and performance optimization of software systems, anticipating future needs and industry shifts.
- Create and execute disaster recovery plans, ensuring robustness and resilience of systems.
- Identify and coordinate the performance of vulnerability scans to ensure system security and compliance.
Application Documentation (20-25%)
- Ensure comprehensive documentation of systems and processes, aligning detailed technical specifications with strategic project goals.
- Create detailed architecture diagrams that accurately represent system structures and interactions, feeding into the validation plan.
- Contribute expertise to Good Practice (GxP) assessments and compliance, ensuring that all software systems meet regulatory and quality standards.
Support (10-15%)
- Serve as the technical expert, guiding teams in diagnosing and resolving high-impact issues.
- Develop strategies to enhance the support framework.
- Act as a consultant for advanced problem-solving, leveraging deep technical knowledge to propose innovative solutions to improve system functionality and user experience.
Learning & Development (5%)
- Encourage and support team members’ growth by providing guidance on educational resources and professional development opportunities.
- Conduct learning sessions to enhance team technical skills and provide exposure to advanced technical processes.
Strategic Collaboration (5%)
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and external partners to drive forward technological initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred: 7 – 9 years of related experience + Master's Degree OR Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise in a broad range of programming languages and frameworks.
- Proficient in architecting systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the full software development lifecycle.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker and ability to identify opportunities for enhancements and technological innovation.
