Mytra’s Software team is looking for a senior frontend software engineer to develop and scale the user interfaces that enable the users of our system. In this role you will work cross-functionally with software and firmware engineers to develop intuitive, visually compelling, and highly performant UIs that redefine the experience in this industry. Our team is focused on development of functional, reliable, and performant software.
Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor the development of user interfaces using React, Typescript, Websockets, and other modern web technologies
- Develop automated tests to ensure high-quality software releases and accurate functionality
- Work closely with cross-functional partners in robotics and infrastructure
- Deliver high-quality code in a variety of on-premises and cloud environments
- Design, implement, test, and document software
- Strong experience with common frontend languages, strong recent TypeScript/Javascript experience preferred
- Experience with React and a deep understanding of its paradigms
- Experience with Progressive Web Apps and offline mode
- Experience developing highly available, high reliability systems
- Experience building responsive UIs for a variety of physical devices (i.e. laptops, TVs, iPads)
- Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, functional testing, etc.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Sense of ownership and a collaborative approach to developing software within a team
- Iterative approach to software development
- Desire to continue learning and growing
- Git experience

- Compensation for this position will be negotiated based on the candidate's experience level and location. The posted salary band is applicable only to the San Francisco Bay Area and is subject to change.
