Your Role
We're seeking a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to:

  • Design and implement visually appealing, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces for web applications Develop and maintain front-end components with a strong emphasis on usability and maintainability Integrate front-end components with backend services to ensure seamless data flow and functionality. Collaborate with back-end engineers to support the development of REST APIs and ensure smooth front-end integration
  • Collaborate with scientists to accelerate technology discovery and practical applications
  • Drive innovation and experimentation in a fast-paced, startup-like environment

Your Skills

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or another modern JavaScript framework Experience with UX design principles and proficiency in design tools like Figma Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming
  • Passion for web development, code quality, and continuous learning
  • Ability to understand user needs, and an eye for a good UI/UX design

Relevant Technologies

  • JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar
  • Database management: PostgresSQL, MongoDB
  • CI/CD systems
  • Kubernetes application deployment
  • Message-driven architecture: RabbitMQ, MQTT or similar
  • Cloud providers: AWS, Azure or GCP
  • OpenAPI frameworks: FastAPI or similar is a plus
  • Figma or similar design tools is a plus

Qualifications

  • MSCS with a minimum of 3 years of experience or BSCS with 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, web standards and best practices
