Brooks Automation is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Finance team supporting our Semiconductor Business
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead our R&D analytics, portfolio prioritization and forecasting efforts across the Semiconductor Business Partner with our operations to enable the best decision making and bring recommendations forward to Executive Management.
JOB DUTIES:
- Drive financial commits (forecasts) with various business partners on a quarterly and annual basis
- Track monthly progress to financial forecasts and explain key drivers of variances
- Understand and communicate financial results to business partners and Corporate Finance
- Develop insights that improve the quality of decision making within the division management teams through data analytics, business benchmarking, and trending
- Manage R&D Portfolio zero based budgeting efforts, report on forecasts and actuals, assist in ROI analysis, and leverage Portfolio theory to optimize program prioritization across the group
- Provide support in creating packages for senior leadership to help deliver key results, metrics, and insights
- Proactively monitor progress throughout the quarter and drive root cause analysis to correct and prevent additional data and process issues
- Develop, generate and publish monthly and quarterly financial metrics and results
- Increases efficiency by developing automated reporting and standardized work products customized to address business needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting and/or finance is required; an advanced degree or Data Analytics experience is a plus
- More than 4 years of relevant financial/accounting experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with reporting automation and process improvements mindset
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), Power BI, Tableau, Workday Adaptive (or equivalent), and Microsoft Office suite required (Strong Excel Skills Required)
- Self-starter capability with a strong desire to learn and take ownership of their role
- Effective communication skills
