Senior Financial Analyst

Job Description

Brooks Automation is a growing, fast-paced technology leader of automation solutions supporting the dynamic and expanding semiconductor and life sciences lab markets. We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst as we accelerate our growth journey.

In this role, you will work with our Enterprise Finance team and provide financial reporting and analysis across the organization and support growth opportunities as our business expands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibility includes:

  • Strategic partnering with Enterprise G&A Department Leaders and providing crucial financial insights, data-driven analysis and strategic guidance to enable informed decisions regarding cost management
  • Leading monthly financial reviews and empowering two-way conversations with the Department Leaders to identify risks and opportunities that potentially impact quarterly financial performance
  • Collaborating with Accounting worldwide to ensure accuracy and transparency of charges
  • Enhancing forecast and budget capabilities by understanding key business drivers and utilizing available systems and applications
  • Driving process improvement to increase productivity and efficiency of reports and analysis
  • Active leadership in month-end close processes resulting in accurate expense accountabilities
  • Leading and participating in projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field and 10+ years in financial/accounting experience required; or MBA, CMA or CPA.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required; strong working knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • 5+ years experienced finance partner to Department Leaders or Business Leaders.
  • Self-starter, strong analytical, verbal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with accounting software applications, ERP systems (Oracle preferred), Workday Adaptive Planning, Hyperion Planning are a plus.
  • Experience financial analyst in manufacturing environment is a plus.

This position will be based out of our Chelmsford, MA office, with a hybrid work schedule.
