The Senior Financial Analyst, US Commercial Finance, will serve as a strategic partner to the US Commercial organization, providing financial leadership and oversight for Heart Recovery’s Global Hardware, Software & Services (HSS) platform and the Commercial Operations budget. The role will collaborate closely with senior commercial leaders to drive business performance and support growth.
The Senior Financial Analyst will also serve as the primary point of contact with Compliance and AR/Revenue Accounting teams for Global HSS, ensuring adherence to internal policies, external regulations, revenue‑recognition standards, and data‑integrity requirements. This includes proactively identifying risks, strengthening internal controls, and supporting audit readiness across reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and consolidate the Global HSS P&L and Commercial Operations budget activities across Close, Forecast and Latest thinking cycles.
- Lead financial analysis and business case development for new markets and new product launches.
- Support revenue audits and ensure compliance with reporting requirements for US01 (US, Canada, LATAM, ASPAC distributor revenue).
- Lead revenue recognition and testing, partnering closely with internal and external audit teams and key stakeholders (Customer Service, Commercial Operations, etc.).
- Point of contact with compliance and AR/Revenue Accounting Teams for HSS
- Lead OPEX and HC forecasting process with business partners (US HSS and Commercial Ops teams).
- Lead different commercial processes impacting OPEX: warranties, accruals, etc.
- Serve as a strategic partner to HSS and Commercial Operations leadership, delivering insights that drive operational and financial performance.
- Lead project-specific initiatives focused on process improvement and financial compliance.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- An MBA, CPA, CMA, and/or other financial certifications are preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of finance and accounting experience is required.
- Strong knowledge and application of technical accounting principles and compliance requirements is required.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively and work effectively in a team environment is required.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted partnerships and influence at all levels is required.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic environment, recommend and implement process improvements, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is required.
- Highly organized with a focus on business results is required.
- Experience with applying ASC 606 revenue recognition framework as well as Software and Service revenue recognition is preferred.
- Position is based in Danvers, MA, and requires up to 5% domestic travel.
