Who You Are

Ontic is looking for a Senior Events Manager who is a best-in-class event operator—someone who thrives in the details and takes pride in executing seamless, high-impact experiences. You bring deep expertise in event logistics, production, and vendor management, and you are known for delivering events that run flawlessly from start to finish.

You run end-to-end event delivery across internal teams and external partners, owning every detail from pre-planning through onsite execution and post-event follow-up. You are highly organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing multiple complex events at once.

While you can contribute to planning and strategy, your core strength is execution—you raise the bar through precision, consistency, and exceptional attendee experiences.

In this role, you will be accountable for:

  • A high-quality, on-brand attendee experience that drives engagement and supports post-event outcomes

  • Contribution to event-sourced and influenced pipeline, in partnership with Marketing and Sales

  • A repeatable, scalable event operating model that drives consistency across event types

What You Will Do

Own Event Planning, Logistics, and Delivery

  • Own the end-to-end planning and execution of Ontic’s event portfolio, including trade shows, hosted experiences, and Ontic Summit

  • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, run-of-show documents, and staffing plans to ensure seamless execution

  • Lead venue sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and budget management

  • Oversee all event logistics including registration, A/V, staging, catering, signage, transportation, staffing, and attendee flow

  • Lead onsite execution, proactively troubleshooting issues in real time and ensuring a polished attendee experience

  • Own event budgets end-to-end, balancing cost efficiency with a high-quality experience

Own Ontic Summit Logistics and Execution

  • Serve as the logistics and execution lead for Ontic Summit, partnering closely with the Sr. Director of Brand (Executive Producer) and external agency

  • Own all Summit logistics and production planning, including venue coordination, A/V, staging support, registration, staffing, and attendee flow

  • Act as the central point of coordination across vendors, venues, and internal teams for all logistics workstreams

  • Lead onsite logistics execution, ensuring all operational elements run smoothly across the attendee experience

  • Identify risks early and proactively troubleshoot issues to ensure a seamless, high-quality event

Drive Operational Excellence and Cross-Functional Alignment

  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Client Success to ensure alignment and smooth execution

  • Collaborate with Field Marketing and Sales to support account-level engagement, meeting coordination, and onsite activation

  • Track and report on event performance (attendance, engagement, operational outcomes) in partnership with Marketing

  • Continuously improve event processes, tools, and vendor workflows to increase efficiency and execution quality

  • Use tools and technology (including AI where appropriate) to streamline planning and coordination

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in B2B events, event management, or event production (agency or in-house)

  • Deep experience in event logistics and production, including managing vendors, venues, A/V, and onsite execution

  • Proven track record owning complex event portfolios tied to measurable pipeline outcomes (e.g., large-scale conferences, multi-city programs, or high-budget event strategies)

  • Strong program management skills are a must: planning rigor, budget ownership, vendor negotiation, and calm execution under pressure.

  • Passion to use AI tools to accelerate audience targeting, personalization, content production, and follow-up workflows, without sacrificing quality or accuracy.

  • Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation (Marketo), event/webinar platforms, and basic reporting/BI.

  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management; able to influence without authority and bring clarity when priorities collide.

  • Bonus: experience marketing to enterprise security, risk, investigations, or adjacent B2B categories.
