The Caseware Marketing team is looking to bring on a strategic, hands-on Senior Events Manager to help elevate our global event operations. This high-impact role will lead the development and execution of a unified global event strategy, with a particular emphasis on directly managing and executing events in North America

Reporting into the marketing leadership team, this individual will oversee a comprehensive global calendar of in-person, digital, and hybrid events—ensuring alignment across regions, while operationalizing North American events end-to-end. They will be responsible for driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and measurable demand generation through a scalable event strategy that balances high-level vision with tactical execution.

This is a remote position and is available to all applicants residing and eligible to work in US or in Toronto, Ontario (hybrid 3x work from office).

What you will be doing:

  • Global Strategy & Calendar Management:
  • Own the global event strategy, ensuring consistent positioning, branding, and audience targeting across all markets 
  • Build and maintain a centralized global calendar of key events, including Caseware-hosted experiences and third-party opportunities 
  • Partner with regional teams to provide guidance, best practices, and operational alignment on international event execution 
  • Present strategic recommendations on global sponsorships, speaker engagements, and flagship events 
  • North America Focus & Execution:
  • Directly lead the execution of all North American events, including owned and sponsored activations, customer-facing events, field marketing experiences, and trade shows 
  • Manage full-cycle logistics for NA events: from planning and vendor management to on-site execution and post-event analysis 
  • Serve as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders (Sales, Product, Customer Success, etc.) in the planning of regional events 
  • Digital & Hybrid Events:
  • Support the planning and execution of global digital and hybrid events including thought leadership webinars, virtual conferences, and live-streamed product launches 
  • Present recommendations for digital event platforms and tools (e.g., registration systems, streaming tools, engagement tech, lead scanning apps,etc.) 
  • Ensure exceptional audience experience and brand consistency across all virtual touchpoints 
  • Operations, Promotion & Performance:
  • Support the development of integrated promotional strategies in collaboration with the broader marketing team, including email, social media, digital advertising, and PR 
  • Work with Marketing Ops team to determine KPIs and performance metrics across all event types and develop a dashboard for global events reporting and insights 
  • Manage vendor relationships, event budgets, production timelines, and inventory across digital and physical event formats 
  • Oversee the booth inventory and event materials, ensuring on-brand, compliant, and regionally appropriate assets are available and shipped on time
  • Lead the swag and promotional item program, including vendor sourcing, ordering, inventory management, and regional distribution 
  • Establish and maintain an internal Events Best Practices Guide to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across all regions and event types 

What you will bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in event marketing,  
  • A strong background in digital, hybrid, and in-person events 
  • Demonstrated success in leading global event strategies 
  • Experience managing regional execution responsibilities 
  • Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skills 
  • Working knowledge of event tech platforms and tools 
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills 
  • Leadership and strong interpersonal skills 
  • Comfortable with regular travel 
  • Problem-solving and management through stressful situations
  • Project management, timelines, and task management
  • Facilities management, audio-visual, room layouts and design 
  • Production, staging, and on-site execution 
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and quality delivery 
  • Menu planning and design 
  • Supplier/Venue sourcing and management 
  • Contracting, negotiations, and compliance 
  • Risk assessment and management (emergency planning) 
  • Event budgeting and financials 
  • Evaluations, reporting and analysis 
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word and cloud-sharing programs
  •  Understanding of social media in event settings
