Develop and lead a global energy management strategy that aligns with ISO 50001, GE HealthCare’s NetZero goals, and broader ESG commitments, ensuring consistent execution across all business segments and geographies.
Influence senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and invest in energy initiatives. Partner with EHS, Facilities, Operations, and Finance to integrate energy management into broader business processes.
Guide and mentor global sites in identifying, evaluating, and executing energy efficiency, renewable energy, and decarbonization projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and local operational realities. Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor to site energy champions and leadership.
Support capital planning and budgeting processes by providing technical input and prioritization frameworks for energy-related investments that deliver measurable GHG reductions and cost savings.
Establish and maintain enterprise-wide energy performance metrics and dashboards to monitor energy consumption, efficiency trends, and progress toward GHG reduction targets, enabling data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. Assist with reporting efforts for internal stakeholders and external disclosures
Ensure compliance with global energy and environmental regulations. Monitor emerging regulatory trends and assess risk/opportunity impacts.
Evaluate and promote emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven energy optimization, electrification, storage). Lead pilot programs and scale successful solutions across the enterprise.
Develop training materials and lead workshops to build energy management capabilities across the organization.
Foster a culture of energy awareness and accountability.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Energy Management, or related field.
Significant experience in energy management, sustainability, or environmental leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of ISO 50001, energy auditing, and GHG accounting.
Experience with energy modeling tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI).
Professional certifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager), LEED AP, or PMP preferred.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and project management skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organization.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Strong problem-solving and project management skills
Proven track record of driving change and integrating environmental considerations into corporate strategy and operations.
Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement long-term actionable plans.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and lead multidisciplinary teams towards common goals.
