TradingBlock is seeking an outstanding Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and drive the development and maintenance of our infrastructure and platform reliability systems. If you thrive on building robust, scalable infrastructure and enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, we want to hear from you. You'll work across the full software development lifecycle, from infrastructure design through deployment and monitoring. If you have experience building-quality infrastructure and platform systems for trading or brokerage operations, we want to talk to you. You will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining the systems that power our trading platform.
What You Will Do, Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain trading / brokerage infrastructure (Servers, VMs, automation and monitoring) critical to business operations
- Ensure platform reliability and scalability
- Build security foundations and ensure compliance
- Build and maintain observability and monitoring infrastructure (Prometheus, Grafana, Airflow, etc.)
- Automate deployments across dev, staging, and production environments
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of low-latency, high-throughput solutions
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality solutions
- Work directly with developers to solve infrastructure challenges
What You Will Bring, Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Linux infrastructure/platform engineering (4-6 years ideal), ideally in the Financial Services or FinTech domain
- Proven experience building and maintaining high-quality, scalable platform infrastructure in a trading or production environment
- Experience troubleshooting platform reliability and scalability issues.
- Experience with systems monitoring and security controls.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate well, and work effectively in a team environment
Experience with the following is a plus:
- Windows/Active Directory configuration and support
- Python scripting
- Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Salt, etc)
- Experience with CI/CD systems
- Security and compliance certifications
- Trade/Execution Engines and Market Data Feed Handlers
- FIX protocol and Financial Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or similar)
