SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Senior Integrations Engineer.  We are looking for a candidate who is highly organized, process-driven, and consistently strives for efficiency through automation. What you’d be doing:

  • Develop and implement changes that impact distribution quoting integration partners within our insurance products
  • Maintain and update distribution quoting integration partner carrier routing rules
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integration processes and workflows. 
  • Manage and monitor integrations for operational health using various analytic platforms and identify potential areas for improvement
  • Support the onboarding of new distribution quoting integrations partners
  • Design, develop, and implement distribution quoting integrations between internal and external systems, ensuring data consistency and reliability.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ad hoc projects and responsibilities as assigned.     

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Actuarial, Computer science, or related field.
  • Applied knowledge of SQL/XML /JSON language stacks and API calls.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in creating functional documentation.
  • Knowledge of source control best practices

 

Highly preferred candidates also have: 

  • Previous experience in the Insurance industry, preferably Property & Casualty.
  • Experience using Visual Studio Code and GitLab.
  • Advanced experience in Postman.
  • Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: C#, C++, Python, R.
