We are looking for a experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team and help improve our mobile development processes. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies that ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platforms.    

About the Job

  • CI/CD Automation
    • Design and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines for iOS and Android (GitHub Actions, etc).
    • Streamline app signing, artifact management, and automated app distribution processes.
    • Maintain and optimize the performance of the mobile build and test environments.
  • Testing & Quality Engineering
    • Develop and enhance UI and integration testing frameworks.
    • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, reducing test flakiness and improving reliability.
  • Dependency & SDK Management:
    • Evaluate, integrate, and regularly update external libraries and SDKs.
    • Manage dependency versioning and maintain governance processes for third-party SDKs.
  • Monitoring & Logging:
    • Manage dependency versioning and maintain governance processes for third-party SDKs.
    • Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic, or ELK stack. 
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure security best practices across the development lifecycle, including secret management, vulnerability scanning, and compliance automation.  
  • Collaboration:
    • Work with development, QA, and security teams to refine the software delivery process.  
  • Incident Response & Troubleshooting:
    • resolve infrastructure and deployment issues to minimize downtime and maintain performance.  
  • Performance Optimization:
    • improve system performance, cost efficiency, and scalability 
  • You will report to the Director of Mobile Technology
  • This role can be remote.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or a related role.  
  • Background in DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure, and experience working with both mobile (iOS & Android) and web technologies.    
  • Cloud expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.  
  • Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as Bitrise, Fastlane, or App Store/Google Play deployment automation.  
  • Expertise in web CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.    
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.  
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization technologies.  
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.  
  • Experience managing and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK Stack).    
  • Understanding of security best practices, including IAM, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and vulnerability scanning.  

The expected starting salary range for this role is $128,300 - $183,500 per year. We may pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and our needs.
