ERM is hiring a Senior Economic Analyst, remote-based, to support a key US-based client.  This is a part-time (10-15 hours a week), limited-term role with a duration of 4 months, extendable. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Create and analyze US and global databases about the impact, monetary and biophysical, of multiple environmental pollutants emitted by various industries.
  • Compare alternative US and global environmental extended input-outputs and make recommendations about their applicability to the client’s use-cases. Develop bespoke metrics as necessary.
  • Supervise and train junior staff assigned to the project.
  • Work directly with the client to refine work products.
  • Develop presentations and documentation concerning work products.
  • Manage QA/QC of project-wide datasets and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 year’s of experience in environmental economics, input-out modeling, and statistical analysis.
