Your Role:

The Senior Director, US NF1-PN Regional Marketing will lead a high performing team, ensuring we deliver on our commitment to advance the commercial potential of our rare NF1-PNs portfolio and ensure the successful management of national, regional, and local key thought leader relationships. As a member of the US NF1-PN Marketing Leadership team, reporting to the Vice President of US NF1-PN Marketing, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to lead the NF1-PN Regional Marketing team in shaping customer engagement strategies, increasing disease awareness, managing P2P efforts and key regional marketing initiatives including congress presence and sponsorships, generating actionable insights to anticipate market trends, and uncovering competitive intelligence, ensuring compliant execution of business objectives.
This role will play a vital role in creating and executing comprehensive engagement strategy by developing a best-in-class experience with external stakeholders. You will be responsible for leading a team to establish and manage Key Thought Leaders and drive brand advocacy, identify and cultivate relationships with emerging leaders and rising stars, manage key stakeholder relationships (e.g., academic institutions, professional associations, congress organization committees, pathway committee members), and gather market insights to inform the development and execution of successful commercial strategies and tactics.

Location/Travel Requirements: Ability to travel up to 65% of the time.

Officially classified as working as a member of field organization, with the expectation of this role to travel and engage and with external partners, collaborators, and other third parties regularly on behalf of SpringWorks Therapeutics. #LI-Remote

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of 5 RMLs, each responsible for significant planning and management activities throughout the year including annual brand congress plan, annual Peer-to-Peer (P2P) promotional program strategy, annual advisory board and steering committee plan, and quarterly and on-demand insights generation.
  • Lead team in the identification and implementation of a robust engagement strategy with disease-state Key Thought Leaders (KTLs) to foster advocacy for assigned asset and future NF1-PN brands. Generate actionable insights to inform brand positioning.
  • In collaboration with Marketing, Medical and Market Access, serve as Commercial Lead in the development of the annual advisory board and steering committee plan.  Lead rollout of the plan to cross-functional key stakeholders.  Manage overall execution and measurement of the plan throughout the year.  In collaboration with the Brand Lead, manage planning and execution of annual steering committee with quarterly interaction.
  • Manage team in the planning and execution of KTL engagements at key congresses and ensuring effective communication with the Executive team.
  • Maintain detailed records of KTLs and key stakeholders, developing engagement strategies and action plans to support brand lifecycle management.
  • Monitor regional and national market trends and work with RMLs to adjust KTL engagement plans in real-time to align with business objectives.
  • Lead the collaboration with Sales and Marketing to identify and recruit appropriate NF1-PN thought leaders for promotional activities, ensuring alignment with broader commercial strategies.
  • Ensure RML team develops and maintains productive relationships with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs to ensure cohesive implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Contribute to the brand planning process, ensuring alignment on objectives and tactics.
  • Manage RML team to successfully plan, execute and report on regional advisory boards and national steering committees
  • Establish clear KPIs linked to national and local plans, based on market dynamics and opportunity assessments and lead and manage quarterly reporting of performance across RMLs.
  • Ensure all promotional activities adhere to relevant regulations, internal procedures, and branding guidelines.
  • Oversee the development of materials such as speaker decks and resources for KTL engagement, ensuring timely execution and alignment with objectives.
  • Manage the budget for all applicable activities and events, ensuring accurate reconciliation of spending and timely reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team objectives.

Role Requirements:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree, Higher Education Preferred
  • English proficiency; other language skills may be considered a plus
  • Minimum 12+ or more years U.S. field sales, product marketing, or medical / clinical experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
  • Requires experience in:
    • Specialty, Oncology or Rare Diseases
    • Niche market and competitive environments
    • The Thought Leader Liaison model
    • Healthcare professional and patient/consumer marketing
    • Significant recent U.S. experience managing a brand in a variety of places in the life cycle
    • Knowledge and application of data sources, reports, and tools to apply to account plan designs and measures of results for the strategies and tactics implemented
    • Ability to consider and analyze a broad range of factors such as policies, practices and trends to make decisions, design plans, develop tactics - Focus on making quick decisions that are as informed as possible, ensuring that the appropriate expertise is integrated into the decision-making process or decisions are completely delegated to experts from the relevant team where it is meaningful
    • Ability to analyze sales data, identify themes and data and use them to make strong recommendations towards improvement in customer satisfaction and retention
    • Strong knowledge of the reimbursement environment for pharmaceutical products
    • Understanding of Patient focused advocacy within associated HIPAA regulations necessary
    • Successful history in understanding the US regulatory environment and navigating the MLR review process
  • Possess and maintain a high level of product knowledge to communicate effectively with Healthcare Professionals
  • Competent in working in complicated scientific and clinical disease states
  • Strong business and financial skills to manage a budget
  • Intermediate to advanced level of skill in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Able to perform normal and routine (home or remote) office duties
  • Must have a valid US Driver’s License

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of customer loyalty and/or customer satisfaction measures and their integration into business dimensions of people and process
  • Understanding of US Oncology landscape including Community Oncology and Academic Oncology dynamics, GPOs, Payer landscape, Specialty Pharmacy stakeholders
  • Ability to effectively access, interact with, and influence various internal and external audiences as needed to support strategic initiatives, goals, and objectives.

Compensation and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position is $222,000.00 – $300,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
