TITLE: Senior Director, Technology Strategy
LOCATION: Greenwood Village, CO
JOB SUMMARY: Perform quantitative modeling to interpret information and develop strategic recommendations to assist senior leadership with decision making and policy formulation as it relates to Charter's technology strategy. Perform financial modelling, competitive analysis/benchmarking, technical analysis, business development/partnerships, and lead highly cross-functional projects teams. Lead strategy development including research activities and analysis - with a focus on supporting advanced connectivity via convergence through mobile, internet, video and the advanced advertising business units. Build robust financial models with multiple scenarios used for evaluating targets/investments and for making product development decisions. Analyze information obtained from management to conceptualize and define operational problems. Prepare product proposals by structuring ambiguous problems, gathering and synthesizing relevant market data and supporting key insights developed through engagements with customers, technology partners, and industry analysts/experts. Study and analyze information about alternative courses of action to determine which plan will offer the best outcomes. Collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives by crafting executive presentations to convey complex technology concepts into actionable next steps for executive approval. Research new technologies and industry trends to better understand key market participants, business models, and the potential impact on Charter's product development efforts. Lead evaluations of technology partnerships and investments, in partnership with internal teams. Lead cross-functional projects with key internal and external partners. Present strategy and recommendations to Charter leaderships and industry working groups to secure buy-in, support, and funding. Build operational and go-to-market plans for new product and service launches. Maintain pipeline of strategic opportunities across targeted use cases and verticals.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in finance, Mathematics, Business Administration or a related quantitative field. 10 years of experience performing financial modeling and analysis to evaluate new market opportunities, including market sizing, revenue forecast, operating model/costing. 8 years of experience: performing strategy consulting or product management; performing project management, including leading and influencing cross -functional teams. 5 years of experience performing partner engagement, contract negotiation, and deal execution.
Experience can be gained pre or post bachelor's degree.
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $155,430 per year.
