Position Summary:
The Sr. Director, Strategy & Planning is a trusted advisor and execution leader who partners closely with the eCommerce and Digital Transformation leadership team to drive strategy, alignment, and operational excellence across the domain. This role ensures the eCommerce and Digital Transformation agenda is effectively advanced by leading strategic initiatives, managing executive-level communications and storytelling, overseeing governance processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across stakeholders. Acting as an integrator, strategist, and operator, the Director plays a critical role in maximizing the impact of the eCommerce and Digital Transformation domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution
  • Support the eCommerce and Digital Transformation domain in defining and delivering the enterprise digital and technology strategy.
  • Translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable initiatives and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate domain-level planning sessions and ensure alignment between digital, technology, and business priorities.

Office Leadership & Governance
  • Supports the SVP, e-Commerce & Digital Transformation in executive governance processes, including preparation for board, executive committee, and steering group meetings.
  • Ensure timely, accurate reporting on technology investments, KPIs, and enterprise digital transformation progress.
  • Track and manage progress against goals and objectives.

Executive Communications & Engagement
  • Draft, review, and manage executive communications, presentations, and updates on behalf of the SVP, e-Commerce & Digital Transformation.
  • Ensure consistent messaging of the digital/technology vision to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Alignment & Relationship Building
  • Build trusted relationships across with e-Commerce & Digital Transformation leadership team and their directs, functional leaders, and external partners.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively address risks, roadblocks, or misalignment.
  • Serve as a connector across the leadership team, ensuring collaboration and alignment on priorities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field & Master's degree or MBA required.
  • 12+ years of experience in technology strategy, operations, consulting, or related leadership roles.
  • Strong track record in enterprise digital/technology transformation and governance.
  • Exceptional communication and executive presence; able to distill complex topics into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Experience in program management, portfolio management, or chief of staff-style roles highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships across senior leadership and diverse stakeholders.
