About this position:
We’re seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Director of Talent with the drive and experience to scale a best in class recruiting function. You will lead talent acquisition efforts while partnering closely across the organization, working with leaders at all levels and various areas of the HR function. Based in our Boston or Chicago office, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we attract, hire, onboard, and develop exceptional talent which has a material impact on the performance of our business.
You’ll oversee our recruiting team and processes, collaborate on seamless operational execution from offer through onboarding, and influence programs that strengthen engagement and retention. This is an opportunity to build scalable people practices that support our growing, distributed workforce across the US and Canada.
What you'll be doing:
- Talent Strategy: Develop and execute a proactive talent acquisition strategy to hire top-tier talent in alignment with our business goals and growth forecasts.
- Recruiting Leadership: Lead, coach, and scale the Talent Acquisition team to deliver a high-quality, inclusive hiring experience across technical, GTM, and corporate functions.
- Executive & Strategic Hiring: Own senior-level, various complex searches and succession planning to ensure we’re building leadership capacity for the future.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage talent analytics to inform workforce planning, measure recruiting effectiveness, and guide leadership decisions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance our recruiting and broader HR workflows, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates, hiring managers, and new employees. Provide skill development for talent acquisition team members and hiring managers to level up our internal hiring competency.
- HR Partnership: Work hand-in-hand with People Ops to ensure smooth processes from offer through onboarding, including system integrations, compliance, and reporting.
- People Programs Collaboration: Partner with the rest of the People team on initiatives that drive engagement and a strong company culture, ensuring our talent practices support long-term retention.

- 15+ years of progressive experience across full-cycle talent acquisition in a high-growth tech environment with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in the affiliate, social media, influencer marketing, or other creator economy company
- Proven experience successfully scaling the recruitment function to meet the needs of a dynamic, evolving business across all departments including GTM, tech and G&A
- Track record of building and executing on successful proactive sourcing and referral programs that generate hires from passive candidates.
- Track record of achieving OKRs and other corporate objectives and increasing the performance and effectiveness of the talent acquisition function based on data
- Track record of filling hard-to-hire and senior roles quickly with high caliber talent
- Deep understanding of employment legislation and employment-related compliance across multiple states and provinces in the US and Canada.
- Super-admin of Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse)
- Proven experience building effective processes, training and content to level up hiring teams.
- Excellent relationship skills, with the confidence to partner with executives and influence at all levels.
- A collaborative, hands-on leadership style that balances strategic vision with operational excellence.

Our approach to compensation:
We take a market-based & data-driven approach to compensation. We leverage data from trusted third-party compensation sources to help us understand the market value of a role based on function, level, geographic location, and scope. We evaluate compensation bi-annually, including performance and market-related factors.
Our salaries are benchmarked against market Total Cash Compensation for the geographic location of our job posting. Compensation for some roles is structured as On Target Earnings (OTE = base + commission/variable) while for others it is structured as Salary only.
To comply with local legislation and ensure transparency, we share salary ranges on all job postings. Skills, experience and other factors help determine the final salary we offer which may vary from the original range posted.
Additionally, all permanent team members are eligible to participate in various benefits plans as part of their overall compensation package.
Salary Range:
$160,000 - 180,000 OTE
