About the Role – SS&C Intralinks

Intralinks, a growth-oriented business unit of SS&C, is a technology leader in M&A, Alternative Investments, and Banking & Securities markets. We are seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Business Transformation to initially program manage a high-priority initiative aimed at redefining our "Factory to Field" commercialization lifecycle.

This is a role for a strategic Program Management leader who can bridge the gap between Product Engineering, Product Marketing, Sales, and Finance. You will be initially responsible for a program to evolve the end-to-end redesign of how our products are packaged, priced, quoted, and billed. Beyond managing the immediate transformation, you will be expected to engage with and evolve the governance models and execution frameworks that will serve as the blueprint for operational excellence across the business unit.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Commercialization Transformation (Factory to Field)

  • Process Redesign: Lead the comprehensive redesign of the "Factory to Field" workflow, ensuring a seamless transition from Product Engineering and Management through to Product Marketing, Sales Operations, and Billing.

  • Commercialization Strategy: Partner with Product and Marketing leadership to operationalize new pricing and packaging models, ensuring they are technically viable for lead tracking, quoting, and contracting.

  • System Ecosystem Alignment: Oversee the programmatic roadmap for our commercial tech stack, ensuring that migrations (such as CPQ to Revenue Cloud) and integrations (Salesforce, Zuora) align with the overarching business transformation goals.

  • Lead-to-Cash Optimization: Identify and resolve friction points in the Lead-to-Opportunity and Quote-to-Contract phases to accelerate velocity and improve data integrity.

Operational Governance & PMO Architecture

  • Standardize Execution: Aligning with the core PMO group, you will implement a standardized program management framework, including consistent reporting cadences, risk mitigation protocols, and success metrics for all transformation workstreams.

  • Strategic Roadmap Management: Maintain the transformation program plan, balancing immediate tactical wins with long-term structural improvements.

  • Executive Orchestration: Serve as the primary liaison to the Executive Leadership Team, providing high-transparency reporting on program health, resource allocation, and ROI.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Change Management

  • Stakeholder Management: Navigate a complex matrix environment to drive alignment between Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.

  • Change Advocacy: Build and execute a change management strategy that ensures organizational adoption of new processes and systems, minimizing disruption to the field.

  • Mentorship: Provide best-practice guidance to workstream leads and project managers, upskilling the organization in advanced program management and transformation techniques.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Professional Experience: 12+ years of experience in Program Management or Business Transformation leadership, ideally within a global B2B SaaS environment.

  • Commercialization Expertise: Proven track record of leading "Commercialization" or "Lead-to-Cash" transformation projects. You must understand the complexities of moving a product from the engineering lab to a billed contract.

  • Architectural Mindset: Experience designing or maturing a centralized program management function (PMO) or a similar strategic "Center of Excellence."

  • System Literacy: Familiarity with the Salesforce and Zuora ecosystems. Direct experience with CPQ-to-Revenue Cloud migrations or similar enterprise-scale CRM/Billing transitions is highly advantageous.

  • Executive Presence: Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders and lead through influence.

  • Strategic Problem Solving: A "systems-thinking" approach to problem-solving, with the ability to see how a change in Product Engineering impacts Billing and Finance downstream.

  • Education: PMP, PgMP, or MBA is preferred, but a proven history of delivering large, multi-departmental organizational shifts is the primary requirement.
