We are seeking a Senior Director of Solutions Consulting to lead, scale, and evolve our Solutions Consulting organization at Dscout. This director-level role will set the vision for how Solutions Consulting drives growth, ensuring that every client interaction reflects Dscout’s value, expertise, and commitment to innovation. You will build and manage a world-class team, partner closely with Sales leadership to accelerate revenue, and collaborate across Marketing and Product to strengthen our market presence and competitive edge.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned leader who combines deep pre-sales expertise with strategic vision and operational excellence.

What you will do

Set Vision & Strategy: 
- Define and communicate the vision for Solutions Consulting, aligning team goals with overall sales and company objectives.
- Ensure the function is a trusted, strategic lever in the sales cycle.

Build & Scale the Team: 
- Recruit, develop, and retain top Solutions Consulting talent.
- Establish clear career paths, mentoring frameworks, and a culture of coaching and excellence.

Operationalize Best Practices: 
- Standardize processes, playbooks, and metrics to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across all client engagements.

Drive Excellence in Client Engagements: 
- Ensure our Solutions Consultants deliver high-impact demos, proof-of-concepts, and evaluations that resonate with enterprise buyers and secure the “tech win.”

Executive Partnership with Sales: 
- Work in lockstep with Sales leadership and Account Directors on deal strategy, forecast accuracy, and pipeline acceleration.
- Provide executive-level pre-sales consultation on strategic accounts.

Cross-Functional Leadership: 
- Collaborate with Marketing to shape pre-sales collateral and thought leadership, and with Product to bring structured, actionable customer feedback into roadmap discussions.

Measure & Report Impact: 
- Define KPIs for Solutions Consulting (e.g., demo-to-close ratios, evaluation success rates) and regularly share insights with the Sales and executive leadership team.

Market & Competitive Expertise: 
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive moves, and client needs.
- Ensure the team is continuously updated and prepared to differentiate Dscout in the market.

What you need to have
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Consulting, Solutions Engineering, or related pre-sales roles within SaaS, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership position.
- Proven track record of scaling and managing large, geographically distributed pre-sales teams.
- Deep knowledge of design research, UX research, or human-centered research domains.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable influencing at the C-suite level.
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy while driving operational execution.
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships that influence company growth and product direction.
- BA/BS in business, anthropology, sociology, market research, design research, HCI, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have
- Experience with Dscout, UserTesting, Maze, or other UX research and usability testing platforms.
- Expertise in qualitative research methodologies, product management, or design thinking.
- Experience developing enablement programs, certification paths, or pre-sales excellence frameworks.
- Background leading SC functions in high-growth SaaS organizations serving enterprise clients.
