We’re looking for a visionary Senior Director of Solutions Engineering to lead a dynamic team, create value for our customers, and contribute directly to our global growth.
Your Mission?
As Senior Director, you’ll lead a team of Solutions Engineers who work directly with customers to design, build, and optimize experiences powered by generative AI.
Your impact? Driving strategic direction, amplifying innovation, and ensuring our solutions are tailored to real-world business needs.
What you’ll do:
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of solutions engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Engage with key customers and prospects to understand their challenges, present tailored solutions, and demonstrate the value of Coveo's offerings.
- Work closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure cohesive customer value realization, optimal customer experiences, and customer focused Coveo go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with your team and Solution Engineering leadership to develop and execute Solutions Engineering strategies that deliver on Coveo's business objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to drive innovation and maintain Coveo's competitive edge.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to assess team effectiveness, customer satisfaction and impact, and overall impact on business growth.
More about the profile we are looking for
You’re a natural when it comes to building relationships with decision makers and translating a highly technical solution into simple business terms. You have great hiring, mentorship, and people development skills. You are technically capable and credible in your own right, able to coach your team to grow their solutioning capabilities and shape their customer engagements. We’re seeking someone who’s passionate about technology that keeps their skills up to date on customer experience, search, AI/ML, and Generative AI.
The ideal candidate would be:
- 10+ years in solutions engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the SaaS industry.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and search technologies, with the ability to translate complex concepts into business value. Having experience within the Commerce, CX is a plus.
- Proven ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated success in engaging with enterprise customers, understanding their needs, and delivering impactful solutions.
- Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change in a rapidly evolving industry.
- Able to travel minimum 30% to 50% of the time.
