About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Director, Solution Architecture to lead our global Solutions Architecture (Sales Engineering) team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving solution strategy, client engagement, and technical leadership across our Managed Security Services, Security Consulting, and Identity & Access Management (IAM) offerings.
As the leader of the Solutions Architecture function, you will partner closely with Sales, Product, and Delivery leadership to ensure our customers receive tailored, value-driven solutions that align with their business and security objectives. You will mentor and scale a high-performing global team, setting the strategic direction for solution design, competitive positioning, and technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global Solutions Architecture (Sales Engineering) team across multiple regions.
- Define and execute the solution strategy for Managed Security Services, Security Consulting, and IAM portfolios.
- Partner with executive leadership to align solution architecture strategy with overall company growth objectives.
- Support global sales teams in driving new business opportunities through compelling solution design and technical presentations.
- Act as an executive-level technical advisor to key clients, building trusted relationships and influencing strategic security initiatives.
- Drive RFP/RFI response strategy, ensuring high-quality, differentiated proposals.
- Oversee the development of standardized solution frameworks, architectures, and value propositions.
- Ensure solutions incorporate best practices, compliance requirements, and emerging security trends.
- Collaborate with Product Management and Delivery teams to refine offerings and provide market-driven feedback.
- Establish metrics, KPIs, and reporting to track team performance, pipeline influence, and customer success outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in presales processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure global consistency in solutioning while allowing for regional flexibility.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, solution architecture, or sales engineering, with at least 7+ years in leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of Managed Security Services, Security Consulting, and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
- Familiarity with enterprise security technologies: SIEM, SOAR, Threat Detection & Response, Cloud Security, Zero Trust, and IAM platforms.
- Strong knowledge of compliance/regulatory frameworks (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
- Proven track record of leading global teams in high-growth security services organizations.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with enterprise clients across diverse industries and geographies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Up to 50% of travel.
