Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate Product Management professional who knows how to define and execute against a product vision. You will work to create, own, and continuously improve strategic and tactical plans for your product. You will be part of the Product management team and will be responsible for owing at least one or more modules within the AppViewX product line.
You will bring in strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, and technical fluency. You handle product backlog, analyze, elicit and define product requirements with the ability to multi-task, and work with cross- functional teams.
You are a self-starter, are inquisitive; and brings in a "will get the job done" attitude. And brings in a sense of humor to get through tough situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and maintain a multi-quarter Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) product roadmap, aligning priorities with company strategy, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence.
- Define clear, outcome-driven product requirements (PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria) and work hand-in-hand with engineering to drive timely, high-quality delivery.
- Conduct deep discovery with enterprise customers, CISOs, and PKI architects to uncover pain points around certificate issuance, renewal, revocation, and visibility.
- Translate regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, eIDAS, FIPS 140-2) into concrete product capabilities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends including post-quantum cryptography (PQC), short-lived certificates (47 day validity), and Zero Trust certificate models.
- Mentor junior PMs and contribute to the broader product culture through documentation, process improvements, and cross-functional knowledge sharing.
- You must be able to understand product vision as well as the end-customer requirements to dictate system requirements to drive product backlog grooming as well as the development
- You must have the ability to translate business problems into solutions through requirements, relevant specs, and stories.
- Collaborate with Design to create intuitive UX for workflows spanning certificate discovery, enrollment, renewal automation, and policy enforcement.
- You should possess solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work with people across different levels within an organization.
Required Qualifications:

- 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead PM role in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software environment.
- Demonstrated ability to own an end-to-end product — from strategy and discovery through launch and iteration.
- Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills; comfortable with product analytics, cohort analysis, and A/B testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders from engineering to C-suite.
- Experience working with enterprise customers in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government, telecoms).
- Proven track record managing complex integrations and API-first products.
Domain Expertise (Preferred):
Direct CLM experience is strongly preferred. Candidates who can demonstrate the following will have a significant advantage:
- Understanding of a CLM or PKI management platform with deep understanding of X.509 certificate standards, certificate authorities (public and private), trust chains, and revocation mechanisms (CRL, OCSP).
- Familiarity with certificate enrollment protocols: ACME, SCEP, EST, and REST-based CA APIs.
- Experience defining automation workflows and knowledge of HSM (Hardware Security Module), key management, and cryptographic policy enforcement.
