Senior Director, Product Management
The Senior Director, Product Management (Innovation) is a senior product leader responsible for identifying, shaping, and scaling innovative products, platforms, and service-enabling capabilities that improve how clinical trials are designed and delivered. This role partners closely with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Regulatory, Medical Writing, Quality, IT, and Commercial teams to translate strategic opportunities into validated product roadmaps, differentiated offerings, and measurable operational impact. The role leads a product management team and is accountable for product strategy, discovery, delivery, adoption, and lifecycle performance.

What we look for
- Bachelor’s Degree in a science or related field required; industry-related discipline preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in project management or product management, digital transformation or solution leadership within a CRO or related company, with at least 8 years of supervisory experience required.
- Demonstrated success launching and scaling products/capabilities used by clinical trial delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial operations and data flow (e.g., start-up, monitoring, EDC/eCOA, safety, CTMS, RBQM, TMF).
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience with vendor/partner management and build-vs-buy decisions.
- Strong experience in financial management of departmental profit and loss.
- Strong experience in management of study budgets and change order management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of a metrics-driven project management approach.
- Demonstrated ability to thoughtfully solve problems, exercise sound judgment, lead by example, and influence without authority.
- Demonstrated visionary and transformational leadership with operational ability to serve as a consultant and business partner with stakeholders
- Action-oriented and resilient in a fast-paced environment and can lead/influence high-performing cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to build, manage and influence executive level relationships (vendors, clients etc.) including advanced stakeholder communication/ escalation and drive activities to conclusion.
- Experience with AI/automation, analytics, RBQM, decentralized trial technologies, or data standards (CDISC, SDTM/ADaM).
- Familiarity with GxP considerations, validation concepts, privacy/security practices, and audit expectations in clinical research environments.
- Prior people management and portfolio ownership.
