Overview:

This role will be responsible for the market strategy and product lifecycle management of all products and services and will report to the VP Product Management. Responsibilities will include driving market analysis, market strategy, product requirements, pricing, business analysis, and overall product decisions for all products and services (worldwide) through all routes to market for the Master Data Management market segments. This leadership position will oversee all Product Management activities within the assigned market segments working cross-functionally with Engineering, Support, Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Finance. This role will work collaboratively with the other Product Management groups (Data Quality, Data Governance) as well as the Advanced Research and Strategic Planning organizations to facilitate planning activities within the Master Data Management market.

What you will do:

· Understand the Market: Work with Strategic Planning to analyze the Master Data Management markets.

· Identify key segments, growth opportunities, and what it takes to succeed in each.

· Shape Market Strategy: Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Strategic Planning to define and update strategies for entering and growing in selected market segments.

· Manage Product Requirements: Gather and prioritize product needs from customers, sales, support, and other teams. Create clear documentation (MRDs and PRDs) and work with Engineering to build roadmaps.

· Develop Business Plans: Create long-term business plans for selected market segments. Track performance and update stakeholders regularly.

· Build Business Cases: Support product decisions and partnerships with solid business models and justifications.

· Communicate Effectively: Share updates clearly through documents, emails, and presentations. Ensure stakeholders understand market trends and product direction.

· Provide Leadership: Lead the product team and influence other departments on product-related matters.

· Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Marketing, Engineering, Strategic Planning, and other product teams to make informed decisions.

· Track Success Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators to ensure goals are being met.

What we are looking for:

· Minimum 10 years experience demonstrating domain knowledge for Master Data Management (MDM).

· Minimum of 8 years experience as a leader in Product Management (Senior Product Manager or Director) in a related technical area.

· B.S.in Engineering or Computer Science; M.B.A. or M.S. preferred.

· Knowledge of market models and market segmentation strategies.

· Experience in building business and pricing models, and applying models to achieve proven business results

· Demonstrated outstanding written, oral and internet communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive projects to produce results.

· Exceptional business judgment in identifying opportunities and resolving issues.

· Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced, demanding business environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional groups, management, sales and customers.

· Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of work

· Excellent analytical, interpersonal, managerial, and organizational skills
