Job Description:
SENIOR DIRECTOR, PRICING AND PRODUCT STRATEGY
Job Disclosures:
Location: Santa Fe NM, Denver, CO, Las Vegas NV, Houston TX, Dallas TX or Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Compensation: The salary range for this position is $121,391 to $167,520. Compensation may vary based on location and experience.

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Senior Director of Pricing and Product Strategy to lead the optimization of revenue across key guest-facing experiences. This strategic leadership role is responsible for developing, implementing, and evolving holistic pricing and product offerings that maximize revenue, deepen guest engagement, and enhance overall experience value.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical foundation alongside a creative, consumer-centric mindset, exceptional leadership skills, and proven expertise in dynamic pricing models, retail margin management, product bundling, and experiential monetization. This role will report directly to executive leadership and be instrumental in setting the long-term financial trajectory of the business in partnership with the Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product teams.
Key Focus Areas:
Dynamic Ticket Pricing: Drive the adoption and continuous refinement of dynamic pricing strategies for tickets, leveraging predictive analytics and real-time market demand data to optimize yield, attendance, and guest mix.
Bundling and Packaging Strategy: Design and implement compelling product bundles and packaged experiences that increase average transaction value and enhance perceived guest value (for example, ticket + F&B + retail + VIP layers).
Events and Hospitality Pricing: Develop comprehensive pricing frameworks for all events, including VIP experiences, special packages, and associated hospitality services, ensuring competitive yet profitable positioning.
Retail and F&B Pricing Strategy: Act as a strategic partner to the Merchandise and F&B teams to develop pricing, promotions, and product strategies that optimize revenue, margin, and guest satisfaction.
Guest Value & Experience Design: Balance revenue optimization with guest perception, ensuring pricing and packaging strategies feel intuitive, compelling, and aligned with the Meow Wolf experience.
Core Responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership:
Develop and champion a cohesive, organization-wide pricing and optimization strategy that integrates pricing, packaging, and experience design to achieve financial targets.
Partner with Marketing and Product teams to align pricing strategies with brand positioning and go-to-market efforts.
Present detailed performance reports, strategic recommendations, and forecasts to the Executive Leadership team and Board of Directors.
Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging monetization models across entertainment, hospitality, and attractions to maintain a competitive advantage.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
Build, maintain, and refine sophisticated predictive models for demand forecasting, price elasticity, and revenue impact analysis across all focus areas.
Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to ensure pricing structures support margin goals and align with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Partner with Product & Engineering to design and monitor A/B testing for pricing and promotional initiatives, using results to inform revenue strategy and optimization.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, profitability, transaction value, yield, and by operational efficiency.
Product & Commercial Innovation
Identify new revenue opportunities through product design, packaging, and pricing innovation.
Collaborate with Product, Creative, and Operations teams to bring new offerings to market.
Develop frameworks for testing and scaling new monetization concepts across exhibitions.
Technology and Implementation:
Serve as the business owner for all revenue management systems and tools (e.g., ticketing software, POS, inventory systems), ensuring optimal configuration and integration.
Collaborate with Data and Product teams to improve visibility into revenue performance through dashboards, analytics tools, and reporting frameworks.
Establish clear processes for price changes, promotions, and product/package launches, ensuring seamless execution across all operational channels.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in Pricing Strategy, or a related analytical role, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the entertainment, hospitality, attractions, or retail industries is highly desirable.
Skills:
Deep expertise in developing and implementing dynamic pricing algorithms and yield management principles.
Strong experience in product bundling, packaging strategy, and commercial innovation.
Proven proficiency in statistical analysis and predictive modeling (e.g., regression, time-series forecasting).
Advanced proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, or similar) and data visualization platforms (e.g., ThoughtSpot, Looker, Kibana).
Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Finance) and drive organizational change.
Strong understanding of consumer behavior, pricing psychology, and experiential value creation.

Physical ability to walk, stand, take stairs/slides/elevators, and navigate the elements during the day and night. Employee may be required to remain in a sitting or standing position for prolonged periods, and repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm MT or 10am to 6pm MST – occasionally requiring flexibility to work during evenings or weekends based on business needs, as well as travel to off-site locations depending on the role and need.

This position does require supervisory responsibility.

This position will require minimal travel (<10%)
