Job Title: Senior Director, Private Markets Fund Accounting

Locations: Boston, MA (hybrid)

Step into a senior leadership role where you’ll shape the vision and strategy of a high-impact Private Markets business, overseeing a broad suite of fund accounting, operations, and product capabilities. You’ll drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence while leading high-performing teams and partnering with clients and executives to deliver meaningful results. How You Will Make an Impact 

  • Lead at the executive level, setting the vision and direction for a large, multi-functional Private Markets organization while shaping and executing a forward-looking operating model

  • Own and drive the success of the Private Markets business, spanning product strategy, fund accounting and administration, capital accounts, middle office, investment accounting, regulatory reporting, and performance analytics

  • Deliver on key business objectives, including P&L and profitability, talent and location strategy, and client satisfaction—while acting as a product champion to evolve offerings in line with market and client needs

  • Partner closely with sales and marketing to accelerate growth, support business development, and strengthen the firm’s market presence

  • Leverage deep industry, competitive, and technology insights to inform strategic decisions and drive long-term value creation

  • Serve as a highly visible, influential leader with executives and clients, confidently communicating strategy, performance, and results across all levels of the organization

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting or related discipline

  • 10+ years relevant experience working for a financial institution and/or fund administrator

  • 5+ years of prior management/supervisory experience

  • Perform at your best under pressure, effectively managing competing priorities and tight client deadlines
  • Initiate and drive multiple projects to successful completion in a deadline driven environment
  • CPA/CFA, MBA preferred
