Role Overview
The Senior Director of Executive Engagement is responsible for the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Calix’s Executive Briefings and Advisory Boards Programs. This leader will drive high-impact engagements with C-level executives across key customers, ensuring the right executive is in the right program at the right time to maximize value for Calix and its customers. The Senior Director will partner cross-functionally to align executive engagement with Calix’s strategic priorities, accelerate innovation, and amplify Calix’s influence in the market.
Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Strategy & Execution
Own the strategy and execution for Executive Briefings and Advisory Boards, including program design, agenda development, and continuous improvement.
Use sales data and AI to be proactive in driving Executive Briefings in the right accounts at the right time
Executive Engagement Delivery
Partner with account teams to design and deliver high-impact executive engagements that address customer challenges and unlock opportunities.
Drive action and close-loop processes, ensuring follow-up on meeting outcomes and implementation of agreed actions.
Work with internal teams to enhance the Executive Briefing Center in San Jose and up-level existing offices for briefings
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Sales, Success, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver measurable value from executive engagement programs.
Partner closely with Calix's Executive Leadership and other business leaders to ensure cross-functional alignment on program goals and key metrics.
Measurement and Impact
Define KPIs for Program Success
Report quarterly on program health, adoption, impact on revenue.
Skills and Experience
10+ years in program management, executive engagement, or related fields.
Proven experience building and executing executive programs, with a track record of measurable impact.
The ability to distill customer insights, priorities, and pain points into actionable discussion points for executives.
Experience working closely with Executives (VP+, C-Suite) internally and with customers required.
Ability to balance strategic vision with attention to detail.
Data-driven mindset with experience in program measurement and reporting.
Ability to operate with urgency, clarity, and precision in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with exceptional prioritization, and time management skills.
Experience with Salesforce, Power BI, and Jifflenow is a plus.

This is a remote-based position located in the United States or Canada, though there is a requirement to attend in-person team or company meetings. Please also note that as part of the recruitment and hiring process, there is an in-person meeting that will take place.

The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
