· Identify and evaluate energy procurement opportunities across generation types, including renewables, thermal, wind, BTM, and storage-integrated assets

· Assess grid connectivity, interconnection feasibility, and infrastructure requirements to support data center development and company load needs

· Develop and execute origination plans that align with strategic targets while responding to real-time market opportunities

· Manage the full deal lifecycle: sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing PPAs, tolls, capacity contracts, and related energy agreements

· Advance deals through internal approval stage gates, working closely with Investment & Strategy, finance, and executive leadership

Internal Partnership & Commercial Leadership

· Serve as the primary liaison between Origination and the Energy Development team to ensure commercial viability and development readiness

· Partner closely with the Investment & Strategy team to execute on defined portfolio guidelines and market priorities

· Align commercial deal terms with modeling assumptions, risk parameters, and return expectations

· Collaborate with legal, trading, and structured deal teams to ensure execution integrity and manage risk exposure

Market & Regulatory Engagement

· Build and maintain high-trust relationships with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, developers, landowners, and market counterparties

· Monitor and respond to regulatory, interconnection, and policy changes across priority markets

· Represent the company at industry events and strategic stakeholder engagements

Team Leadership

· Lead and develop a high-performing Origination team; mentor team members and define accountability metrics

· Foster a proactive, commercially disciplined culture focused on execution, collaboration, and deal velocity
