Job Description

About the Role

The Sr, Director Demand Marketing will play a critical role in advancing SmartRecruiters ambitious growth objectives by building a high-performing demand generation engine. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive, global, data-driven demand generation strategy that delivers measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.

This role requires an experienced leader with deep expertise in demand creation and capture strategies, targeting key segments with precision, and aligning closely with marketing, product marketing, regional sales leaders, SDRs, and RevOps to create a seamless go-to-market engine. Balancing operational execution with strategic foresight will be essential to laying the foundation for scalable, predictable, and impactful growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive growth: 

    • You will take ownership of achieving ambitious pipeline and revenue targets, building a scalable, predictable framework that supports both short term wins and long-term growth for new and existing customers. 

    • Implement processes to improve team efficiency and streamline operations, driving greater effectiveness in campaign execution.

  • Lead Demand Marketing strategy: 

    • Design and refine a multi-channel demand creation and capture strategy, incorporating SEO, SEM, paid media, web, email marketing,  and in person events, while ensuring continuous optimization and measurable outcomes

    • Own global campaign strategy and execution, with responsibility for aligning cross functional teams to drive outcomes.

  • Build a high functioning global growth engine: 

    • Build a robust and efficient demand generation engine, uniting marketing, sales, SDRs, and RevOps around shared objectives, and streamlining operational processes for maximum efficiency.

    • Lead regional marketing programs to develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns aimed at driving expansion and growth in target markets.

    • Lead and mentor a diverse team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.

  • Data-driven optimization: 

    • Utilize team KPIs, OKRs, and regional growth rates to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.

    • Implement and manage a multi-touch attribution model to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, leveraging tools to uncover insights, refine strategies, and maximize ROI.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in demand generation, with a focus on driving growth and expansion in diverse markets.

  • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of team KPIs, OKRs, and advanced data analysis techniques.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in employing predictive modeling and forecasting to inform marketing strategies.

  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage and influence executive stakeholders.

  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of driving impact in fast-paced environments.

  • Willingness to travel periodically and work across multiple time zones as necessary.

  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower cross-functional teams

  • Experience in HR-Tech or related industries in B2B SaaS is a plus
