Job Description Summary:

The Sr. Director, Customer Growth in the West Region will lead a team of marketing strategists focused on delivering meaningful value for national and area customers in alignment with the West Region national and regional sales teams to drive incidence and deliver mutual growth. This is a ‘player-coach’ role that builds partnerships with top 20 customers and delivers our growth ambition by leading, coaching and building capabilities around our FSOP Coca-Cola Commitment.  The position serves as a strategic bridge between Coca-Cola and our West Region customers and their guests, representing the perspective/voice of customers in the aggregate concerning how Coca-Cola brands and capabilities can best serve their needs.

The leader in this role will also be responsible for recruiting and developing world-class marketing talent and engagement for the Customer Marketing West COE.  Additionally, this position will lead the West Region marketing business planning process, marketing routines and be part of the West Region leadership team.

What You’ll Do for Us

  • Align with West Region to set priorities across the customer portfolio and communicate these priorities to the CM team so that appropriate long and near-term focus is given based on the work that matters most across the region portfolio of customers.

  • Build strategic relationships with C-Suite marketing executives with Top 20 West customers with the ability to facilitate and accelerate the business relationship based upon an understanding of their marketing needs. 

  • Leads the West marketing business planning process and assures that top 50 customers have a Beverage Strategy in alignment with the FSOP Collaborative Business Planning process (CBP).

  • Actively participate in Sales routines, bringing the marketing lens and reporting back to appropriate CM teams to assure ongoing alignment between Marketing and Sales on how to deliver against customer needs and objectives. 

  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, developing and advancing Directors and marketing strategist with a focus on building best-in-class marketing capabilities, bench strength, and growth.

  • Models growth behaviors and leads a culture of empowerment that is focused on the development and motivation of individuals to achieve and sustain high performance.

  • Serve as a key strategic link between the West and our Atlanta based Customer Value and Growth organization to ensure we are collaborating effectively.

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA Preferred

  • 10+ years CPG experience, preferably with background/experience within Foodservice & On-Premise and/or in a Customer Marketing role in other industries/channels

  • Proven experience leading and inspiring teams

Location Irvine, Denver or Dallas preferred, West Coast

Travel - Approximately 25-30%

Pay Range:

$211,000 - $238,400

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
