We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven Director of CRM & Promotions to lead our efforts in optimizing the user journey, increasing player engagement, and driving retention and loyalty across the entire lifecycle. In this high-impact role, you’ll oversee the development and execution of personalized, cross-channel communication strategies that deepen customer relationships and drive lifetime value for our PrizePicks player base.

What you’ll do:
  • Own the end-to-end CRM and lifecycle strategy across email, SMS, in-app messaging, push notifications, and emerging channels.
  • Own the strategic process to plan, execute, assess the results of the promotional calendar planning cycle, including stakeholder management and cross-functional team communication points
  • Develop and optimize automated lifecycle campaigns that target key moments in the user journey—activation, engagement, retention, reactivation, and winback.
  • Partner with Product, Data, Creative, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to design personalized messaging and seamless customer experiences.
  • Leverage segmentation, behavioral data, and A/B testing to deliver timely and relevant communications that drive KPIs including engagement, conversion, ARPU, and churn reduction.
  • Establish reporting frameworks to monitor campaign performance and continuously identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead a team of lifecycle marketers and CRM specialists, providing strategic direction and fostering a culture of innovation and performance.
  • Ensure all CRM campaigns meet regulatory and compliance standards, particularly in a highly regulated DFS/gaming environment.
What you have:
  • 7+ years of experience in CRM, retention, or lifecycle marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, lifecycle stages, and CRM best practices.
  • Proven experience managing CRM platforms and marketing automation tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into action.
  • Experience in a mobile-first, fast-paced consumer technology or gaming environment strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in gaming, fantasy sports, or sports betting is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
