This highly visible leadership position has been designed for an executive marketing professional to lead the US Centanafidine launch, a novel treatment for ADHD. The compound represents a scientifically unique approach to treating symptoms that are not adequately addressed by current therapeutic options and/or for which existing treatments have an unsatisfactory safety and tolerability profile.
The core responsibility of this role is to deliver a successful launch that results in significant contribution to overall brand growth and lead commercial team members responsible for creating and implementing brand strategy across HCP/PME/Consumer/NPP marketing.

Job Description
Overall strategic direction for the indication launch, execution, as well as managing performance post-launch
Work closely with executive leadership team members and key individuals of the base business to integrate the strategy with the base indications to ensure the maximal success of overall business
Lead all strategic and tactical activities in close coordination and alignment with organizational matrix partners
Work with clinical teams to ensure optimal labeling and translation of clinical data into commercial messaging
Partner with medical teams to align on an asset-level plan driving an aligned launch approach for both commercial and medical
Build a plan to ensure optimal access and affordability within aligned financial framework by effectively partnering with patient support and market access teams
Build a team and lead relevant team members responsible for HCP/PME/Consumer/NPP marketing to oversee the development of the HCP/Consumer strategy, promotional plans, campaigns and set the promotional direction for brand and customer engagement team
Collaborate with sales leadership to design sales force structure that supports successful indication launch and growth; provide a clear strategic direction to the field
Lead other functional teams and strategic partners (e.g. agencies, alliance organizations) to ensure cooperation, shared responsibility in commercialization activities and ultimately in business performance
Work with business analytics and market research to identify key insights, track and manage brand performance and adjust plans accordingly
Oversee the development of pre-launch disease education/market-shaping initiatives across HCPs and consumers
Qualifications
Required
MBA or other relevant graduate or post-graduate degree
12+ years commercial experience, ideally spanning HCP, consumer, new product launch experience, sales, access and market analysis experience within the US pharmaceutical industry
Strong strategic skill sets including effectiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges (e.g., competition) and the ability to navigate complex market environments
Brand marketing experience, including identifying market and customer needs, building strategic and tactical plans and brand promotions
Demonstrated ability to lead matrix teams and deliver strong results
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Demonstrated business acumen
Ability to respond effectively to multiple priorities and tight timelines
Sense of urgency and adept at balancing short- and long-term priorities and manage multiple priorities effectively
Previous experience managing direct reports
High level of intellectual curiosity combined with strong strategic and analytical skills
Extensive experience with developing and executing marketing strategies and tactics, market research and analysis and business forecasting
Strong executive leadership skills, communication, presentation and business partnering ability
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and decisive environment
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive, collaborative manner
Agility and flexibility to work in a newly designed customer engagement model
High level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships
Strong strategic agility with the ability to analyze complex business issues and opportunities, adapt to evolving market and competitive dynamics, and utilize sound judgment to establish appropriate objectives
Up to 30% travel is required*, based upon business needs.

Prior experience with successfully launching a brand
Experience within the ADHD space
