You will work with key business and technical stakeholders to define, document, and prioritize new digital products and existing digital product enhancements. Manage priorities and obstacles. This role will co-manage a team of product owners, assisting improving product owner performance, increasing efficiency and agile maturity, continues innovation and improvement and overall retention and development of talent.
The Digital Product Owner will work with Insurance Solutions Digital Services scrum teams & quality assurance and technical experts as well as many business stakeholders, business owners, other digital product managers, Marketing team members, Tele-sales, and Call Center team members. This product owner will interface with two scrum teams supporting five channels of Medicare Supplement OLE.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete pre-sprint planning activities, working with the Digital Product Manager and Digital Product Analyst
- Collaborate with Scrum Master for sprint & release planning, create and maintain a robust backlog, set daily stand-up meetings, weekly grooming sessions, and retrospective
- Feature creation, including providing supportive information, articulating definitions (acceptance criteria) and requirements to assist the team(s) with feature sizing and overall development. User Story creation to provide detailed information to define acceptance criteria and ensure seamless handoff to scrum team
- Attend daily scrum calls to monitor each phase of the product development cycle, prioritize defects, rely important information to scrum team, assist to any questions/unknowns that appear, review test scripts, participate in testing efforts with QA&E and provide final sign off that team user stories meet the given acceptance criteria
- Set, invite, and lead digital product demos to key stakeholders. Communicate any process changes, escalations, blockers, delays to appropriate stakeholders
- Participate in prerelease testing (PAT) & Post Health Checks
- Ensure that the products delivered meet the required quality standards, business goals, and customer expectations. Review product increments and provide feedback to teams for continuous improvement. Identify and implement process improvements to increase team velocity, streamline workflows, and reduce bottlenecks in product delivery
- Oversee release planning, ensuring that teams are on track to meet delivery deadlines and that products are launched with minimal disruption
- Proactively identify potential risks and dependencies within the product development process and work with teams to mitigate them. Act as the liaison between the product teams and stakeholders (business, technical, and leadership), managing expectations and ensuring effective communication

Required Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience using Agile methodology
- 2+ years of experience in ecommerce and/or digital roles
- Experience with Agile software development processes. Formal experience with one or more recognized Agile methodologies (Lean, SaFE, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Health care experience or experience in other interactive and digital industries such as retail and financial services or digital agencies
- Experience as a product owner or analyst that has documented requirements
- Experience working successfully in a large, matrixed organization
- Experience coordinating priorities and contributions of a network of stakeholders from across a large, diverse organization
- Experience delivering web experiences, both consumer and non-consumer facing, that meet user needs based on usability research, UX design and information architecture principles, and product management methodologies
- Experience working collaboratively at all levels and across business lines using influencing skills
- Proven organization skills with ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize deliverables
- Ability to develop and maintain relationships to establish trust and credibility across a matrixed, cross-functional team
