About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. You will be responsible for deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet our customers’ needs.
How you will make an impact:
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
- Understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers
- Designing, automating and improving development and release processes
- Developing, updating and managing Infrastructure as Code
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Identifying technical problems and developing software updates
- Collaborating with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
- Mapping out projects and being involved in project management decisions
Skills needed to succeed:
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role
- Experience with Amazon Web Services infrastructure management
- Demonstrated ability working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Strong understanding of application, environment, and infrastructure security
- Proficient in scripting to automate recurring tasks
- Strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP + OSI model layers 3 - 7)
Nice to Have:
- Comfortable working with Kubernetes preferred
- AWS Professional DevOps Engineer certification
- Knowledge or experience developing and maintaining Machine Learning Operations
- Experience managing a Business Intelligence Service like Tableau
- Working in SOC2/HITRUST environments
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
