The Position:
We’re looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to improve our observability and performance monitoring systems. You’ll define the patterns and practices that shape the next evolution of our observability stack and lay the groundwork for future reliability initiatives. You’ll help monitor critical services, establish standards, and ensure a stable, secure, and scalable observability platform for our engineering teams. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise across reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, software development, and operations to make a meaningful impact across the organization. This is a remote position which will report to our Cloud Infrastructure Team and collaborate with engineers across the Platform, Security, Data, and Software teams. Our mission is to empower our customers—GameChanger Engineering—to efficiently deliver exceptional products on a secure and reliable platform.
What You'll Do:
Architect and manage our cloud observability platform which aggregates logs, traces, and time-series metrics from infrastructure and applications.
Develop and implement custom dashboards to help monitor important metrics across our entire stack including mobile applications, apis, databases, and cloud platforms.
Establish and promote SRE best practices such as well-architected reviews, change management and incident response.
Partner with engineers on tools, deployments, and improving scalability and resilience.
Build relationships with engineering teams to understand roadmaps, influence architectural decisions, and ensure our platforms meet our partner's needs.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience to have developed software engineering fundamentals.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a DevOps role or a similar position.
Knowledge of Datadog or Prometheus services, patterns and best practices for resiliency, scalability, and security.
Experience developing IaC and software. Our team works with Terraform, TypeScript, Python, and a variety of scripting and programming languages and contributes to our application code.
Experience working within DevOps, CI/CD, GitOps, and Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Github Actions, Gitlab CI and Jenkins.

The target salary range for this position is between $160,000 and $200,000. This is part of a total compensation package that includes incentive, equity, and benefits for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors including experience, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We constantly review all teammate pay to ensure a great compensation package that is fair and equal across the board.
