In addition, you'll also:
- Shape the holistic vision of user interfaces across Flatiron products, focusing on consistency, scalability, and flexibility.
- Design and test modular, accessible UI components and patterns that reflect the Flatiron brand and solve diverse user needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with designers and engineers to develop high-quality front-end code and maintain shared libraries and tools.
- Promote best practices through documentation, process improvements, and ongoing communication around the Design System.
Who You Are
You are a hybrid front-end developer and product designer that enjoys working in both Figma and Code.
- You have a portfolio or examples of past work, bonus if you can include code samples or projects in git.
- You have 3+ years of experience working as a hybrid product designer and front-end developer.
- You are comfortable context-switching between different problems.
- You bring a systems approach to everything you do.
- You have strong expertise in modern coding technology (React, Typescript, HTML/CSS).
- You are comfortable working in Figma and designing UI.
- You're detail oriented and have an eye for consistency.
Extra credit
- You have experience contributing to design systems and component libraries.
- You're familiar with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- You have experience building products in healthcare.
