About Fieldguide

Fieldguide is the AI platform for audit and advisory firms. We are helping firms make the most consequential decision of the decade: not which AI tool to buy, but which partner to build their agentic firm with. Practitioner led, agent executed. We are Series C, scaling fast, and the firms we work with are rebuilding how professional services gets done.

The role

We are looking for a demand generation manager who thinks in funnels, not channels.

You will own Fieldguide’s campaign demand engine: the webinars, nurture tracks, email programs, and content distribution that build pipeline across every segment of the market. You will own the number for those channels, from the hypothesis to the honest read on what worked.

This is a hands-on program owner seat with real ownership. You will set the calendar, write the briefs, run the pods, and carry the outcome. You will work alongside a peer who owns paid performance, so you can go deep on the campaign side rather than spreading thin across everything.

You are also someone who uses AI daily. Not as a novelty, but because you have built workflows that let you produce like a team of three.

What you’ll do

Own the webinar program. Thought leadership, product release, and sponsored webinars. Content, production, promotion, registration and attendance conversion, and follow-up. Build it as a repeatable operating rhythm, not a series of one-offs.

Own nurture and lifecycle. Design and ship segmented nurture tracks by practice area, persona, and funnel stage. Instrument conversion before launch. Read it honestly. Kill what isn’t working.

Own email campaigns. Content launches, product announcements, pre and post event promotion. Every send has a hypothesis and a metric.

Own content distribution and segmentation. Take the content our brand and product marketing teams produce and get it in front of the right audience, in the right sequence, more than once. Define the audiences and the list strategy.

Orchestrate with ABM. Partner closely with our ABM lead so account-based plays have campaign air cover, a shared calendar, and the collateral they need.

Partner on the demand side of events. Catalyst, trade shows, and field events. You drive the demand campaign wrapped around the event: promotion, registration, and follow-up sequencing, alongside our Field Marketing team who own the event itself.

Report on what’s working. Own the campaign read in the weekly pipeline review: pipeline created and influenced by program, against pace. Build the reporting and the AI-assisted monitoring that surfaces a problem before anyone has to ask.

Use AI to multiply output. Ask whether AI can do the first 80% of every task, then spend your time on the judgment and the finish. Build agentic monitoring for campaign performance. Share the workflows so the leverage compounds across the team.

What you bring
  • 6+ years in B2B demand generation, campaign marketing, or lifecycle marketing, with clear ownership of a pipeline number.

  • Experience at the scale we are operating at: programs contributing meaningfully to a quarterly pipeline target in the eight figures, not a few hundred thousand.

  • Full-funnel thinking. You can walk through a program you owned and name the stages, the conversion rate at each one, the persona map, and where the leak was. Tactics are steps in a journey, never the whole story.

  • Deep hands-on experience with webinars, nurture, and email at real scale. You have this down to a science, not in theory.

  • Fluency in HubSpot or a comparable marketing automation platform. You build the workflow yourself; you don’t wait for ops.

  • A specific, demonstrable AI practice in campaign execution. You can show us the workflow, the inputs, and what it replaced.

  • Comfort in the seams. Much of this job is making the next function’s work easier: ABM, content, ops, sales. You bring dependencies in early and hand off cleanly.

  • A high bar you hold yourself. You are the first quality check on your own work, and you measure it against the best in the category, not against your last campaign.

  • B2B experience. Professional services, accounting, audit, or fintech is a plus; B2C is not a fit.

What great looks like here

We measure ourselves by outcomes, not effort. Great work doesn’t meet the standard, it sets it. Ordinary is the failure mode, even when ordinary is clean and correct.

If that sounds like the way you already work, we should talk.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
