The Senior Database Developer & Database Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reliable database systems that support the organization’s applications and business processes. This role ensures databases are optimized for performance, secure, backed up, and aligned with industry best practices. • Design, develop, and optimize database structures, stored procedures, functions, and queries.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot production and development databases.
• Implement data models, ensure data integrity, and maintain high availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Monitor database performance and proactively resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and patches.
• Establish and maintain backup, recovery, and security protocols.
• Collaborate with software engineers, analysts, and project managers to support application development.
• Review and refine complex SQL scripts to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain documentation on database configurations, processes, and standards.
