In this role, you will be working with a group building foundation models for Telco.
What you will do:
- Design and build telecom foundation models and domain-adaptation pipelines for tasks such as channel modelling, resource allocation, network optimization, predictive maintenance, and radio sensing.
- Design and maintain scalable, efficient data pipelines and AI/ML workflows for large-scale datasets.
- Integrate state-of-the-art AI research techniques into project workflows to drive continuous innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate complex use cases into operational AI solutions.
The skills you bring:
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML solution development with a focus on foundation models.
- Proficient in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow; experience with libraries like Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning and deep learning techniques, including large/foundation models, transfer learning, self-supervised learning, and generative models.
- Experience with unstructured data, building/fine-tuning foundation models is a significant plus.
- Demonstrated ability to implement new algorithms and methodologies from leading research papers, assessing their scalability and viability for industrialization.
- Demonstrated ability to deploy models at scale with considerations for latency, throughput, and resource constraints.
- Solid problem-solving skills and capability to work autonomously on complex technical challenges
Nice to have
- Proven ability to lead projects end-to-end with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, with a track record of presenting technical findings to senior leadership and diverse audiences.
- Experience in writing and presenting white papers, journal articles, or technical blogs is a plus.
