To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: USD 175500 - USD 229125
Zone B: USD 158400 - USD 206800
Zone C: USD 145800 - USD 190350
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to partner with our AI teams. We're seeking someone with strong business instincts, creativity, analytics mastery, and experience working alongside cross-functional teams; someone who is passionate about applying these skills to drive smarter product decisions and ultimately, delight our customers.
Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify high-impact opportunities for analysis and align analytics priorities with the AI roadmap and strategy.
- Quantify the impact of AI features on our business and customers.
- Understand insightful trends and employ behavioural data and insights to intelligently improve user journeys and customer value.
- Envision, scope, and execute projects by collaborating with product managers, engineers, designers, researchers, data engineers, and other data scientists
- Share your high-quality insights and recommendations to various levels of leadership to drive critical business decisions
- Foster a world-class analytics culture, leading by example, through education and the creation of self-service tools, to make a lasting change in how your partners use data to make decisions.
Qualification:
- Proven experience applying your analytics skills to projects that have had a positive impact on strategic and product roadmap decisions
- Expertise in SQL and proficiency in another data science programming language (eg Python, R)
- An agile development mindset, appreciating the benefit of constant iteration and improvement
- A very high bar for output quality, while balancing "having something now" vs. "perfection in the future"
- Strong ability to communicate, explain complex concepts to diverse audiences, and crafting compelling stories
- Project management and prioritisation experience; preferably with product management, design and software engineering teams
- Experience in using statistics as part of your role (e.g. regressions, A/B tests, forecasting)
- Proficiency in at least one visualisation tool (e.g. Tableau, R-Shiny, Microstrategy, SAP Business Objects).
- A degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, econometrics, computer science etc)
It's a bonus, but not required, if you have:
- Previously worked in global teams and high-growth companies
- An understanding of AI or SaaS development, business models and metrics
- Experience providing insight into how product changes impact user happiness and engagement
- Experience building ETL pipelines using any tools or scripting languages
- Are an active member of the broader analytics and data science community
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Math or Statistics
