About the role:

Mytra is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to continually improve the business through scientific and data-driven insights.

As a Senior Data Engineer you’ll develop and evolve our data pipeline, collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and measure key metrics, and develop data models. You’ll get the opportunity to have significant ownership of the data infrastructure that empowers internal teams to make key decisions.

Example Projects

• Work with stakeholders to define and align on key metrics
• Architect and implement the next generation data pipeline
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners in software, product and hardware engineering to capture data in line with company goals

• You’re very comfortable with best-in-class data tooling like Prometheus, Grafana (not an exhaustive list) and have experience with ETL Processes.
• Uncertainty isn’t scary, and you’re willing to realize mistakes and pivot.
• You’re familiar with Observability.
• You can convey complex ideas and technical concepts to a diverse audience.
• Openness, inquisitiveness, and constant ambition are important values.

Pay Notice:

Compensation for this position will be set based on the candidate's experience level and location. The posted salary band is applicable only to the San Francisco Bay Area and is subject to change.

This role requires on-site presence at our Brisbane, CA headquarters, for close collaboration with the other teams.
