What we’re looking for
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in harmonizing customer data across various systems, ensuring flawless data integration and flow. You'll expertly handle event data, using cloud and sass solutions to transform and enrich these events for maximum impact.

Responsibilities
1) Data Integration
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using mParticle and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless data ingestion, transformation, and synchronization across multiple systems.
Proactively monitor data flows, implement automated quality checks, and swiftly resolve issues to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and reliability of customer data
2) Collaboration and Support
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and marketing professionals, to align on data strategies and implementation.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members on best practices for data integration and event data management.
3) Data Quality
Establish and enforce robust data governance practices, including schema validation, event tracking standards, and privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks to detect anomalies early, driving continuous improvement in data accuracy and trustworthiness.
4) Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and marketing teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
Act as a trusted advisor for clients and colleagues, providing guidance on best practices for data integration, event enrichment, and scalable architectures.
5) Innovation Leadership
Stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating emerging tools, frameworks, and techniques to enhance data engineering practices.
Advocate for engineering excellence through CI/CD adoption, version control, and reusable frameworks while fostering knowledge sharing and technical mentorship within the team.
6) Performance Optimization
Continuously optimize data pipelines for speed, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Monitor cloud resource usage, implement tuning strategies, and ensure solutions are designed to handle high-volume, real-time event data without compromising performance.

- Client-objectives achieved as measured by the key KPIs set at the beginning of the project

- 100% of client engagement strategies are feasible and powered by the data stack.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- 2+ years of experience working with Python
- 2+ years of experience working with one or more cloud platforms ( AWS, Azure or GCP)
- 2+ years of experience with mParticle
- Strong knowledge of data integration and syncing techniques.
- Experience working with event data and developing lambda functions.
- Experience working with Git and CI/CD tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in an agency setting or working with external clients
- English C1
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices.
- Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Databricks, Kafka, Tealium Tag Manager
- Familiarity with customer engagement platforms like Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot or similar tools.
