Team mission

The Analytics department's mission is to enable the organisation to take action based on data. We work on a variety of problems and datasets as members of cross-functional mission teams. We take ownership of the entire analytics funnel, from exploration through recommendations to impact measurement and take pride in the insights we generate.

This Organic Growth Analytics team works with marketeers, analysts, product managers, data scientists and engineers to create and promote a best-in-class marketplace product. You will also collaborate closely with the Marketing Analytics team that focuses on paid acquisition channels to create an aligned holistic view. Your team will build an understanding of how to utilise our organic growth channels to the maximum capacity, and support the teams to reach their targets via operational and strategic insights, identifying opportunities and enabling proper measurement. 

You will:
  • Develop quantitative analysis to drive product and marketing decisions.
  • In collaboration with stakeholders identify organic growth opportunities and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with marketing analytics and Growth cluster leads to develop a comprehensive understanding of user acquisition and retention channels.
  • Design and implement data models, metrics and dashboards to guide the teams strategy and success.
  • Support the technical teams in tracking and producing more insightful data.  
  • Contribute to the learning and experimentation culture of the company by promoting hypothesis-driven development and evaluation.
  • Answer the big questions to push our knowledge of our customers further.
  • Contribute to the strategic thinking of the team by being a thought partner to the Product Managers and Marketing Leads. 
Who you are
  • 5+ years of relevant experience interpreting data in an analytics, data science or business intelligence role
  • Excellent stakeholder management 
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with statistical packages (e.g. R, Python)
  • Strong statistical background and proficiency with advanced statistical methods
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g. Looker, Jupyter Notebooks)
  • Ability to understand user behavior and meaning behind the numbers, and translate them into actionable insights
  • Desire to work in an international environment, with minimal direction in ambiguous situations and with highly engaged individuals
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a focus on business impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Nice to have:
  • Experience in SEO and CRM analytics, and with growth data products is of significant benefit.
  • Familiarity with ETL technologies like Airflow is a plus.
  • Experience with big data tools (e.g. Spark, Hive) is a plus.
  • Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) is a plus.
