🌀 The Company

Filigran, founded in October 2022, stands out in the cybertech ecosystem for its commitment to revolutionizing cyber threat management with a proactive approach. Its mission is to develop innovative open-source solutions designed to anticipate cyber threats, identify security gaps, and strengthen organizational security posture.

Filigran solutions are now trusted by over 6,000 public and private organizations worldwide.

🎯 The Role

We're looking for a Senior Customer Training Consultant to join our Customer Success team and strengthen our training delivery function.

In this role, you'll be a senior contributor to a shared standard within a growing team of Customer Training Consultants. You'll deliver training within complex customer engagements, contribute to the frameworks that scale our instructor-led programs, and bring deep expertise to a team that is collectively setting the standard for preparing threat analysts and administrators to use Filigran tools. You'll work directly with our Director of Content Management, alongside peer consultants and Content Managers, and in close partnership with Revenue and Product teams.

💼 Your Responsibilities

Delivery (Primary)

  • Own and deliver ILT sessions (onsite and virtual) across the full customer base — from onboarding engagements to advanced technical workshops for complex accounts

  • Lead lab-based workshops using CloudShare or equivalent environments, ensuring hands-on, high-impact learning experiences

  • Represent Filigran at customer sites, executive briefings, and strategic onboarding engagements

  • Manage delivery logistics: scheduling, prep, post-session follow-up, and feedback loops

Program Architecture

  • Collaborate to shape the training delivery model — contributing to cadence, format, packaging, and scalability decisions alongside peer consultants and the Director of Content Management

  • Build and maintain a library of advanced training content (agendas, slide decks, demo datasets, lab environments) for OpenCTI and OpenAEV

  • Develop learning paths and certification programs tailored to different user profiles, maturity levels, and regional contexts

  • Contribute to and uphold quality standards for training content and delivery across the team

Strategic Contribution

  • Provide input to the product roadmap by surfacing recurring learner gaps and platform friction points

  • Represent the training function in internal planning conversations and cross-functional initiatives

  • Partner with CS leadership to ensure training programs align with customer outcomes and success milestones

Mentorship & Standards

  • Bring senior-level perspective to content reviews — peer review of materials before publication

  • Support and develop Content Managers and junior consultants on instructional design, delivery technique, and technical depth

  • Document delivery processes, best practices, and tribal knowledge to build a scalable, transferable training function

🤝 Who You’ll Work With
  • Reporting to: Director of Content Management

  • Peer collaboration with: Customer Training Consultants, Content Managers

  • Cross-functional partners: Revenue, Product, and Customer Success teams

  • Customer-facing: The full customer base — from onboarding through advanced enterprise engagements across cybersecurity, threat intel, SOC, and critical infrastructure teams

  • Environment: Fully remote, async-friendly — with regular onsite travel for ILT delivery

🧬 Profile We’re Looking For

Must-Have

  • Proven expertise in Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) as a discipline — you understand threat actor tracking, intelligence collection and analysis, and dissemination workflows; platform experience is secondary to domain fluency

  • Significant experience delivering technical training to practitioner-level audiences, with demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, threat intelligence, or adjacent domains

  • Strong instructional design skills: you can turn complex platform capabilities into learner-ready content independently

  • Experience building and facilitating lab-based learning environments (CloudShare, AWS, or equivalent)

  • Exceptional communication and executive presence — comfortable in front of a CISO as much as a junior analyst

  • Autonomous, structured, and collaborative — you raise the bar by working with the team, not above it

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a strong plus

Strong Advantage

  • Hands-on experience with OpenCTI and/or OpenAEV (or comparable open-source threat intel platforms)

  • Background in building training functions or service catalogs in a high-growth SaaS environment

  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and certification program design

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
