Position Overview 

The Senior Curriculum Manager serves as an experienced curriculum professional responsible for leading content development initiatives, managing curriculum projects, and providing advanced instructional support across Boston Institute of Finance (BIF) educational programs. This role bridges operational curriculum management with strategic planning, requiring both hands-on expertise and leadership capabilities while reporting to the Sr. Director of Curriculum and Instruction. 

What You'll Do

  • Curriculum Development & Project Management 
  • Lead curriculum development projects from conception to implementation, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables 
  • Coordinate content updates and improvements based on industry changes, regulatory updates, and student feedback 
  • Manage relationships with subject matter experts and external curriculum developers 
  • Oversee the creation and revision of course materials, assessments, and supplementary resources 
  • Conduct comprehensive curriculum mapping and alignment reviews 
  • Advanced Student Support & Content Management 
  • Provide expert-level support to CFP® certification candidates on complex financial planning concepts 
  • Resolve escalated content-related questions and issues from students and faculty 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive educational resource libraries 
  • Create advanced study guides, case studies, and practical application materials 
  • Monitor student performance data to identify curriculum improvement opportunities 
  • Faculty & Instructional Support 
  • Support faculty development and training initiatives 
  • Coordinate with instructors to ensure consistent content delivery across all program formats 
  • Assist in faculty onboarding and provide ongoing curriculum-related guidance 
  • Facilitate curriculum-focused professional development sessions 
  • Manage instructor evaluation processes related to curriculum delivery 
  • Technology & Innovation Leadership 
  • Lead AI integration projects for curriculum development and student support 
  • Develop and implement best practices for technology-enhanced learning experiences 
  • Oversee virtual classroom operations and troubleshoot technical issues 
  • Create documentation and training materials for new educational technologies 
  • Research and evaluate emerging educational tools and platforms 
  • Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement 
  • Conduct regular curriculum audits to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance 
  • Analyze student feedback and performance metrics to drive improvements 
  • Coordinate with accreditation and regulatory compliance initiatives 
  • Manage curriculum version control and documentation processes 
  • Lead cross-functional teams on curriculum enhancement projects 
  • Stakeholder Collaboration 
  • Interface with product development, marketing, and operations teams on curriculum initiatives 
  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide curriculum expertise 
  • Coordinate with industry partners and professional organizations 
  • Support market intelligence gathering related to curriculum trends and competitor analysis 

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Additional financial planning certifications (CFA, ChFC, etc.) 
  • Experience in distance education or online learning development 
  • Background in instructional design or adult learning principles 
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience 
  • Familiarity with AI tools and applications in education 
  • Experience with accreditation processes or regulatory compliance
  • Advanced curriculum development and management 
  • Project leadership and coordination 
  • Technology integration and innovation 
  • Data analysis and performance measurement
