About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Creative Designer to lead how TCP tells its story visually — across every channel, format, and audience. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a creative strategist and maker who can translate our brand into a powerful, consistent, and conversion-driving design.

You’ll be the steward of TCP’s visual identity, ensuring every touchpoint — from campaigns and ads to our website, videos, and events — feels unmistakably “us.” You’ll collaborate closely with brand, content, and demand gen teams to ensure that our creative not only looks great but drives measurable business impact. You’ll also mentor junior designers, helping them grow into exceptional creative contributors and brand ambassadors.

As a Senior Creative Designer, you will:

  • Lead TCP’s visual identity and creative strategy across all marketing channels, ensuring a cohesive and differentiated brand presence that drives awareness and engagement.
  • Design and deliver high-impact creative assets for campaigns, paid media, content, the website, social media, videos, events, and sales materials.
  • Partner with the demand generation team to concept and execute creative that converts—balancing brand storytelling with performance objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with content, product marketing, and comms to craft visuals that clarify complex ideas and make our solutions stand out.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, providing direction, creative feedback, and career development support.
  • Evolve and maintain brand guidelines and systems, enabling consistent design quality and scalability across teams.
  • Work with external partners (freelancers, agencies, vendors) when needed to extend creative capacity or execute specialized projects.
  • Champion design excellence — bringing fresh ideas, curiosity, and creativity that elevate how TCP shows up in the market.

How Your Success Will Be Measured:

  • Brand consistency and strength: Unified, recognizable brand experience across all campaigns and materials.
  • Creative performance: Measurable lift in campaign engagement, conversion, and brand recall tied to design execution.
  • Design quality and innovation: Work that advances TCP’s visual identity and differentiates us from competitors.
  • Collaboration and mentorship: Strong cross-functional partnerships and visible growth of the junior design team.
  • Efficiency and scalability: Creation of systems, templates, and processes that streamline creative production and improve output quality.

Requirements
  • 6–10 years of design experience in B2B SaaS or technology marketing, ideally within an in-house marketing team.
  • A portfolio that blends brand storytelling with performance design, demonstrating strength in digital campaigns, web, video, and presentation design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and presentation tools (Google Slides, PowerPoint, Keynote).
  • Strong conceptual and visual storytelling abilities — able to connect creative direction to brand strategy and audience insights.
  • Experience supporting demand generation, ABM, and sales enablement, with an understanding of how creative drives pipeline.
  • Familiarity with motion, video, or animation production (hands-on or art direction).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • A natural collaborator and mentor who raises the creative bar for everyone around them.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Travel, no more than 10%.

Benefits
  • Competitive salary based on experience plus uncapped commissions
  • 20 days PTO and 13 days of companywide holidays
  • 8 hours to volunteer and impact your community
  • Comprehensive benefits (Health/Dental/Vision/401K)
  • The work/life set up you need to be successful.
  • Employee Choice Benefit

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
