About the team
The Teamwork Lab is Atlassian's cross-disciplinary group of teamwork experts-behavioral scientists, transformation leaders, and learning strategists-dedicated to reinventing how teams work.
Our mission is to unleash the potential of every team by designing, validating, and sharing research-backed ways of working for modern teams. We create high-impact, actionable content that help teams and customers adopt new, evidence-based practices for the future of work.
Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work - whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Role Overview
As a Senior Creative Designer for the Teamwork Lab, you will be the driving force behind the visual and narrative assets bringing the Teamwork Lab research to life. You'll lead the creation of engaging, high-quality assets-videos, guides, keynotes and more-that bring our research and practices to life for Atlassians and customers worldwide. You'll collaborate closely with researchers, product marketers, and transformation experts to translate complex ideas into compelling, accessible, and actionable content.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Content Creation: Drive the creative design process for Teamwork Lab with a special focus on content that is supporting sales and marketing enablement.
  • Visual & Narrative Strategy: Develop and maintain a cohesive visual and storytelling strategy that aligns with Teamwork Lab's mission and Atlassian's brand.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with behavioral scientists, HR leaders, sales teams, and other designers to ensure content is accurate, actionable, and impactful.
  • Experimentation & Innovation: Champion new formats and creative approaches to content, leveraging AI and the latest design tools to accelerate learning and engagement.
  • Quality & Consistency: Set and uphold high standards for content quality, accessibility, and inclusivity across all deliverables.

About You
  • 5+ years of experience in creative design, content creation, or a related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital, video, and written content.
  • Proven ability to translate complex research and ideas into engaging, accessible content for diverse audiences - from C Suite executives to individual contributors.
  • Experience leading creative projects from concept to delivery, ideally in a cross-functional or research-driven environment.
  • Expertise in visual storytelling, brand development, and digital content production.
  • Proficiency with design and content tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Passion for teamwork, learning, and driving positive change in how teams work.
