The PTC Corporate Strategy team is looking for an ambitious Senior Strategy Analyst to join our team in a high visibility and high impact role. We are at the heart of PTC’s strategy, and you will play a critical role in achieving the next wave of growth by helping design the strategies, plans, and tactics to maximize our competitive advantage.
An exceptional candidate will be able lead and contribute to important corporate projects and initiatives for the team by executing complex problem solving through analysis and synthesis of both quantitative and qualitative data. You will not only enjoy doing detailed hands-on research but also take the initiative in structuring your analysis into insightful perspectives tailored to an executive audience. Candidates who excel in the role will be well positioned to accelerate their trajectory and growth at PTC.
This role will join a talented team of strategy colleagues responsible for driving the strategy, initiatives, and planning for the company. You will work with a diverse set of executive and senior management stakeholders at the company inclusive of PTC’s product teams (CAD, PLM, ALM, SLM, etc.) and Corporate functions (Finance, IT, Corporate Marketing, OCTO, etc.).
  • Day-To-Day:
  • Conduct analysis on markets, customers, technology frameworks, use cases, and more
  • Develop executive-level materials summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Lead meetings with stakeholders across the company, including senior level executives
  • Typical types of projects include:
    • Market Landscape & Competitor Deep Dive
    • Business Unit Assessments
    • Customer Analysis
    • Research on Persona & Buyers
    • Strategic Company Decisions
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for Software and Strategy Consulting
  • Highly motivated self-starter able to work in fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to structure and execute quantitative and qualitative analysis and translate into insights, recommendations, and innovative strategies
  • Strong written and verbal presentation skills, with the ability to prepare and present information and recommendations to a diverse and often senior audience
  • Experience in executing cross-functional strategic and operational initiatives in an ambiguous environment
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (business, engineering, or computer science major preferred, though open to all majors)
  • 5-7 years professional working experience ideally 3+ years of experience in business/analytical roles (e.g., analytics, strategy, finance)

PTC carefully considers a wide variety  of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $94,000 - $123,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus.  Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs. Employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and, if you are an office-assigned employee, a generous commuter subsidy.
