Job Description

The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for a Senior Continuous Improvement Specialist to lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site to enhance operational performance, strengthen management system implementation, and build sustainable CI capabilities aligned with the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Deployment

  • Lead the deployment of the site CI roadmap aligned with business objectives.

  • Support the implementation and governance of management systems (KHMS / operational excellence framework).

  • Translate strategic priorities into structured improvement initiatives.

2. Process Improvement & Problem Solving

  • Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and improvement projects.

  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, and structured problem-solving methodologies.

  • Coach teams on root-cause analysis (RCA), A3 thinking, and data-driven decision-making.

  • Track and validate impact (cost savings, productivity, quality, and service).

3. Performance Management

  • Drive KPI review routines and performance governance.

  • Establish visual management systems and daily management standards.

  • Identify performance gaps and ensure corrective action plans are executed.

4. Capability Building

  • Develop and deliver CI training programs.

  • Mentor pillar leaders and functional teams.

  • Build internal CI capability and a succession pipeline.

5. Change Management & Culture

  • Promote a CI culture and mindset across the organization.

  • Engage leadership to ensure strong sponsorship of initiatives.

  • Ensure sustainability of improvements through standardization and audits.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Productivity improvement (%)

  • Cost savings / cost avoidance

  • OEE improvement

  • Reduction in waste / losses

  • KHMS maturity score

  • Project delivery success rate

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years in Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence (production experience preferred)

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (required)

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)

  • TPM

  • Knowledge in Project management

  • Knowledge in KPI tracking/management systems

  • Experience working in data analysis (Excel; Power BI preferred)

  • Strong stakeholder influencing skills

  • Coaching and facilitation

  • Strategic thinking

  • Results-focused

  • Ownership and accountability
